Warranty & Repair Policy

At Knives of Alaska, we don’t just make knives; we make promises. Every tool that leaves our Denison, Texas facility is engineered to provide a lifetime of service in the world’s most demanding environments. We stand behind our craftsmanship with a commitment as rugged as the Alaskan wilderness.

The Knives of Alaska Limited Lifetime Warranty

Knives of Alaska warrants that all of our products are free from defects in material and workmanship for the life of the product. If a knife or tool fails due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair or replace it at our discretion, free of charge.

What is Covered:

  • Structural failure of the blade or handle under intended use.

  • Defective hardware (rivets, screws, or lanyards).

  • Failure of the heat-treat process (blade chipping under normal use).

  • Workmanship issues with our premium leather and Kydex sheaths.

What is Not Covered:

This warranty does not cover damage caused by abuse, misuse, neglect, or alterations. Specific examples of non-covered damage include:

  • Using a knife as a pry bar, screwdriver, or hammer (unless the specific model is designed for such tasks).

  • Damage caused by improper sharpening techniques (eg, using a high-speed grinding wheel).

  • Natural wear and tear, including scratches, rust (if not properly maintained), or faded handle scales.

  • Broken tips due to praying.

Professional Sharpening & Maintenance Service

We want your Knives of Alaska blade to remain as sharp as the day you bought it. If you are uncomfortable sharpening your D2 Tool Steel or MagnaCut blade, we offer a professional factory sharpening service.

  • Cost: $15.00 per knife (covers handling and return shipping).

  • Includes: Professional edge regrinding, cleaning, and light buffing of the handle.

How to Submit a Warranty Claim

If you believe your knife has a defect or requires factory service, please follow these steps:

  1. Prepare Your Shipment: Safely wrap the knife in cardboard or a padded mailer. Ensure the blade is secure so it cannot pierce the packaging.

  2. Include Your Information: Inside the package, include a note with your Name, Return Address, Phone Number, Email, and a brief description of the issue or service requested.

  3. Ship To: Knives of Alaska Warranty Dept. 3100 Airport Drive Denison, TX 75020

Note: We recommend using a shipping method with tracking and insurance (USPS Priority, FedEx, or UPS). Knives of Alaska is not responsible for items lost or damaged during transit to our facility.
