Refund and Return Policy

At Knives of Alaska , we take immense pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our American-made tools. If your purchase does not meet your expectations, we are here to help you with a return or exchange.

1. 30-Day Return Window

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return or exchange. If 30 days have passed since your order was delivered, we unfortunately cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

2. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:

  • Condition: The knife or tool must be unused, unsharpened, and in the same condition that you received it.

  • Packaging: It must be in the original Knives of Alaska packaging (box and internal wrap).

  • Proof of Purchase: You must provide a receipt or order number from knivesofalaska.us.com .

Note: Items showing signs of field use, honing, or wear to the handle/sheath cannot be accepted for a full refund.

3. Non-Returnable Items

  • Final Sale Items: Products marked as “Final Sale” or purchased during specific clearance events (excluding our standard 20% site-wide discount) are not eligible for return.

  • Gift Cards: Digital and physical gift cards are non-refundable.

4. How to Start a Return

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Email Us: Contact our support team at info@knivesofalaska.us.com with your order number and the reason for the return.

  2. Authorization: Once approved, we will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and shipping instructions.

  3. Ship Your Item: Mail your product to our Texas facility: Knives of Alaska Returns 3100 Airport Drive Denison, TX 75020

Please ensure the knife is safely secured in its sheath and wrapped in cardboard to prevent injury to postal workers.

5. Refunds & Processing

  • Inspection: Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Restocking Fee: A standard 10% restocking fee may be applied to returns to cover inspection and repackaging costs.

  • Credit: If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment (Credit Card, PayPal, etc.) within 7–10 business days.

6. Exchanges (Defective or Damaged)

We only replace items at no cost if they are defective or damaged due to a manufacturing error. If you receive a damaged item, please contact us immediately at +1 (479) 437-7189 so we can expedite a replacement.

7. Shipping Costs

  • Customer Responsibility: You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

  • Return Labels: If you receive a refund, the original cost of shipping will be deducted from your total.

  • Insurance: For items over $75, we strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
