Our knives are designed by Charles Allen , a world-renowned Master Guide, Outfitter, and Biologist. Every blade in our catalog is born from his decades of experience in the Alaskan wilderness and is field-tested to ensure it meets the demands of professional guides.

Does Knives of Alaska offer a lifetime warranty?

Yes. We offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. We stand behind our tools—if it’s our fault, we’ll fix it or replace it.

What is D2 Tool Steel?

D2 is a high-carbon, high-chromium tool steel known for its incredible edge retention and toughness. What is the factory edge angle?

What is the Suregrip® handle made of?

Our signature Suregrip® handles are made from a specialized santoprene-based material. It is designed to remain tacky and slip-resistant even when your hands are cold, wet, or bloody, ensuring maximum safety during field dressing.

Are the prices on the website already discounted?

How long will it take to receive my order?

Most orders are processed within 1-3 business days . Depending on your location, shipping typically takes 2–5 business days via USPS Priority or FedEx/UPS Ground.

Can I return my knife if I’m not satisfied?

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship to the United States and Canada . Please be aware that customers are responsible for any local customs duties or import taxes.

Maintenance & Service

How do I sharpen my Knives of Alaska blade?

Because of the high Rockwell hardness of our steel, we recommend using Diamond-coated sharpeners or ceramic rods. Avoid high-speed electric grinders, as they can ruin the temper of the steel.

Do you offer a sharpening service?

Yes! We provide a Professional Factory Sharpening Service at our Denison, Texas facility. For a small fee to cover shipping and handling, we will restore your knife to its original factory edge.
