At Knives of Alaska , we understand that when you order a piece of professional-grade equipment, you want it in your hands as quickly as possible. Every order is packed with care at our facility in Denison, Texas , ensuring your gear arrives ready for the field.
1. Order Processing Time
Standard Processing: Most orders are processed and prepared for shipment within 1–3 business days .
High-Demand Periods: During peak hunting seasons or holiday promotions (like our current 20% off sale), processing may take up to 5 business days .
Order Tracking: Once your order ships, you will receive an automated email containing your tracking number.
2. Shipping Rates & Methods
We utilize reliable carriers to ensure your knives reach you safely. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order and your delivery location.
USPS Priority Mail: Typically 2–4 business days (Best for PO Boxes and rural areas).
FedEx / UPS Ground: Typically 3–5 business days.
Expedited Shipping: We offer overnight or 2-day air options at checkout for those last-minute departures to the backcountry.
3. Domestic Shipping Restrictions
As a responsible manufacturer, we comply with all local, state, and federal laws.
Regional Restrictions: Some states and municipalities have specific laws regarding the blade length or opening mechanisms (eg, Automatics).
Buyer Responsibility: It is the responsibility of the buyer to know their local laws. By placing an order, you certify that you are of legal age and that the item is legal to possess in your jurisdiction.
No PO Boxes for Automatics: Automatic knives (Switchblades) must be shipped via private carriers (FedEx/UPS) to a physical address; they cannot be shipped via USPS to a PO Box.
4. International Shipping
Currently, Knives of Alaska ships primarily within the United States and Canada .
Customs and Duties: For international orders, the recipient is responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and brokerage fees.
Customs Seizures: We are not responsible for items seized by customs. Please ensure the knife model you are ordering is legal for import into your country before purchasing.
5. Shipping Insurance & Lost Packages
All shipments are made pursuant to a shipment contract. While we guarantee your order will be delivered to the carrier in perfect condition:
We recommend selecting a shipping method with insurance for high-value orders (eg, Professional Combo Sets).
If your tracking information shows “Delivered” but you have not received your package, please contact the carrier directly to open a claim.
6. Address Accuracy
Please double-check your shipping address before confirming your order. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrectly provided addresses. If a package is returned to us due to an address error, the customer will be responsible for the additional shipping costs to return the item.
